All Kenpark units are LEED Gold certified green factories, signaling our commitment to sound environmental principals within the communities we operate in. The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating system developed by the U.S Green Building Council (USBGC) has helped us work within the boundaries of an ecologically sustainable model that brings us a step closer to growing the green building movement.


Kenpark all units are M&S Plan A certified, echoing our pledge towards waste reduction, ethical trade and the use of sustainable raw materials to combat climate change and work towards a sustainable future for new generations. Therefore, every M&S product manufactured at our facilty has green attributes.


All Kenpark facilities operate within a ZERO WASTE TO LANDFILL policy to ensure that waste and factory by-products are recycled and reused with 0% going to landfills.we are using garbage fired boiler to recycle waste.

Our comprehensive waste management policy extends over multiple areas.

  • Fabric Waste : All fabric off cuts and waste is collected, sorted and sent for recycling
  • Plastic Waste : All plastic waste is collected and recycled at the Anwar Plastic Recycling Mill in Kathgor and used in the manufacture of rubber products.
  • Food Waste : All food waste from our canteens is sent to the Gonopoti Shebak Pig Farm in Chittagong, with some being used for composting as well
  • Paper Waste : Our waste papers and cartons are recycled at the Hakkani Paper Mill in Kalurghat, Chittagong
  • Construction Waste : We recycle & reuse all construction debris and all iron scraps are recycled at the Bangladeshi Steel Re-rolling Mill (BSRM) in Nasirabad.
  • Glass Waste : We recycle all our glass waste at the Usmania Glass Sheet Factory inKalurghat, Chittagong
  • Disposal of Bulbs: We ensure that the mercury in used bulbs is properly disposed of by working with Bulb Eater.
LEAN Operations

Kenpark adopts a ‘Lean Culture’ across its facilities to eliminate unnecessary wastage of resources and enhanced productivity.

Knowledge is power, and it is our belief that to grow great leaders for our future generations, there is no greater gift than that of education. Kenpark have launched a number of educational initiatives designed to enrich the young leaders of our future.


We are presently implementing a five year plan towards developing the SM High School with the goal of transforming it into the best school in the area. Kenpark has already provided the students of the school with a fully-fledged science laboratory, extensive library, an assortment of musical instrument to nurture creativity. In addition we have invested in ceiling fans and office equipment for classrooms and administrative departments.


At Kenpark, our pledge is simple; to be the catalyst for sustainable change in strengthening our communities. Our commitment towards improving the lives of the less fortunate lies in enriching them through opportunities today to build the skills and talents that will enable them to face the challenges of tomorrow.

Missionaries of Charity, Mother Teresa’s Joytinibash

Established in 1991, the Missionaries of Charity home provide care, education, training and support for the elderly, the differently abled, poverty stricken and orphaned children. At present the home supports over 85 people of all ages. This home has been identified as a project Kenpark hopes to support over a period of time, thus enabling them to provide assistance to even more people.

Work Done To Date:

  • Providing food for the patients at the missionaries.
  • Assistance to maintain the operation of the missionaries (e.g painting the buildings, providing ceiling fans).
  • Donation of furniture for the missionary orphanage.
  • Donation of clothing to the patients of the missionaries.
  • Toys for the recreation and development of the children in the home

Future Plans:

  • Operational: Repairing of road to missionaries, painting of all buildings, more ceiling fans for medical/female canteen, cupboard for patients/dispensary.
  • Health & Hygiene: Providing water supply system, Water heater/towels for medical section, Cooking utensils for canteen, Clothes and slippers for patients.
  • Recreational: Toys, music system for ward.
  • Training: we will set up a vocational training center for sewing machine operators.
Spectra School of Autism

Kenpark has partnered the SPECTRA School of Autism, a Project of Foundation for Autism Research & Education (FARE), a project focused on education and training for autistic people and creating opportunities for autistic children. The school currently supports approximately 38 children of all ages.

Initiatives taken by Kenpark:

  • Establishment of "Kenpark Techno –hub", a long cherished dream for the Autistic children’s IT knowledge .
  • Training cost for one year.
  • Monthly donating 50,000 BDT to bear the expenses of the teachers and staffs of Autistic school.

Future Plans:

  • Training: To train autistic children on vocational and life skill, so that they can compete in the fast moving world
ISO 26000

Kenpark Bangladesh Apparel (Pvt) Ltd has now successfully implemented the recommendation of the ISO 26000, Corporate Social Responsibility Guideline.

This International Standard provides guidance on the underlying principles of social responsibility, recognizing those principles and engaging stakeholders, on ways to integrate socially responsible behavior in the organization. ISO 26000 emphasizes the importance of results and improvements in performance on social responsibility in the 7 core subjects stated below.
